Quantity Surveyor
Support clear residential cost planning, procurement, valuations and project controls from pre-construction through delivery.
The role
Commercial control connected to the live project.
The role combines client-facing communication with detailed estimating, measurement and cost reporting across substantial residential work.
Core responsibilities
- Prepare estimates, cost plans, quotations and tender information.
- Undertake surveys, measurements and pre-start commercial reviews.
- Manage valuations, cost reporting, payment information and variation records.
- Verify quantities, material requirements and delivery information.
- Communicate clearly with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and project teams.
- Identify commercial risks early and maintain accurate project records.
What we are looking for
- At least three years of quantity-surveying experience in residential construction.
- Working knowledge of UK residential construction, BOQs, tenders and valuations.
- Confident negotiation and clear client communication.
- An organised approach across site, office and project documentation.
